Our glazes are high temperature and are made with natural oxides, which allows us to achieve sophisticated colors and textures that we normally see in sculptures or tableware.
These materials have a much higher sensitivity to kiln firing than pigments, which are commonly used in the industry, resulting in greater variation.
It can also result in “effects” within the glaze, for example a glaze that is two-colored or has “clouds” of color.
