RICESHE COLLECTION comprises lamp sand decorative pieces from the application of existing plastic models, blending the elegant workmanship of TOUCHABLE with HEMPOLOGY’s bioplastic, which is composed of straw, rice husk, wood chip, and hemp fiber and reduces the use of plastic by 30%. Using fah-she (or traditional bamboo woven food cover) as a model, together with storage trays, weaving modular semicircle and half-oval fah-she shapes from natural and industrial scrap materials, elevates the simple bamboo food cover to be an object of beauty as well as a unique decorative hanging light. The stackable, changeable storage tray modules provide drawers ideal for keeping items needing visibility and air to breathe.
